I grew up in Sydney and went on to study Medicine at the University of Sydney where I graduated with First Class Honours. In addition to placing first in the postgraduate examinations for Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Australia wide), I have undertaken extensive training in advanced pelvic surgery with a one year Australian based keyhole surgery fellowship.

My training was centred mainly within the Hunter Area Health Service (Newcastle, Maitland, Gosford, Belmont) and the Sydney West Area Health Service (Westmead, Auburn and Blacktown). I hold private VMO appointments at Westmead and Norwest Private Hospitals as well as the Sydney Adventist Hospital. My public VMO appointments are at Westmead and Blacktown public hospitals.

I am happily married and have two gorgeous young daughters; keeping me balanced and well grounded. Having my own family has also allowed me to understand the stresses of pregnancy as well as those of raising a family while both parents work. In my time away from work, I love watching cooking shows and spending quality time with my cheeky daughters.

I believe that all those with private insurance should have ready affordable access to excellent obstetric and gynaecology care within the private sector and my modest fee structure reflects that philosophy.

I continue to be involved in research and training of junior staff in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. My article on Laparoscopic Hysterectomy was published in The Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynaecology (USA) in 2008. A co-authored article on identical twins was published in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2012.
